Every textile we make
begins in the garden
-
We harvest pigments from the garden to become the base layer each piece. Our textiles feature colors from a variety of berries, concord grapes, orange & red beets, red cabbage, black beans, nettles, celery, onion skins & cherries
-
Our first collection is inspired by the edible flowers growing in my garden. Bachelor buttons, snapdragons, lavender, and sweet peas are thoughtfully harvested and transformed using traditional botanical dyeing techniques. The result is a collection of linens imbued with the natural pigments, textures, and fleeting beauty of the garden.
-
The natural pigments and pounded flowers are scanned in and layered. This is where the print takes shape and the dyed fabric becomes a signature Snacky Girl textile.
